About Old Settler's Park: With 300 days of sunshine per year, Round Rocker have plenty of time to enjoy the City's parks and outdoor events. Old Settler's Park is the crowning jewel, offering a generous 480 acres of rolling countryside for local events and festivals such as the July 4 fireworks celebration, Christmas Family Night, and the Easter Egg Hunt. The lake view pavilion (venue for Cosmofest) offers a serene and spectacular panoramic backdrop to the festivities. Located right off Hwy 79, the park is very accessible and is a short n easy drive. The park boasts of 2.5 miles of trail, abundant parking, 4 restrooms, 8 grills, 2 picnic shelters, 22 picnic tables, 3 concession stands, 3 playgrounds, and a beautiful lake. |
